As for the car, I just hope some of the other porsche models get styling cues from the 918.

all the front engine v12 fcars are 1700kg, i think by 2014, technology will again defy physics and make the 918 handle better than any cgt for sure.
cgt will continue to be the rawest, but have faith in porsche, the 918 will amaze everybody.
but yes, it looks like its gonna be priced too close to a f70 though, i rather take the f70 too, but get a 918 used when it drops. nobody does hype like ferraris, so expect the f70 to be unobtainable now or later, but 918 on the other hand......

Even if Porsche could defy the laws of physics please remember the technology is what is available TODAY . The car is designed now .
You will never be able to do things in a heavy 4wd car that you can in a light 2wd car , its the whole concept thats flawed . There is no call for an economical, heavy , hybrid 4wd supercar . Why not use a kers type thing if you insist on using new tech ? why in the name of god use a full blown hybrid that can drive this car in eco mode ?
look how fast the battery in our mobile phones are improved , by the time the car is out they will already be obsolete .
