Yes you are correct, no it isn't a typo, a UK from new genuine factory GT3 for £24,995. Oh, and yes that mileage of 179,606 really is correct, we don't think it's been clocked!!
996 GT3 Mk2. First registered 07/06/2004 04-registration. Finished in Cobalt Blue Metallic with Black leather interior. 18" GT3 alloys, PCCB's (Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes), leather Recaro bucket seats, Xenon headlights with headlamp wash, Traffic Master voice guidance Satellite Navigation, in-dash CD storage, one touch interior light package, CDR 23 in-dash CD player/tuner, CD storage, small aluminium package, climate controlled air conditioning, full leather to dashboard/doorcards, electric windows/mirrors, remote central locking, ABS, power steering and Thatcham Category 1 Alarm/immobiliser.
Possibly the most financially secure cars for sale in the UK today. It is hard to imagine what would have to happen for this car to reduce significantly in value in the future. The GT3 is and always has been one of Porsche's superlative moments and at some stage it will surely make the journey upwards following in the footsteps of the 993RS, 964RS, 3.2 Club Sport, 2.7 RS and so on.
This particular car is in fine fettle having been driven as an every day car rather than as a track day weapon. Some years it's done 40,000 miles sat on the motorway and auto-route. A very easy life per mile. It's had it's fair share of knocks and bangs including a repair with the main dealers following a wet weather venture off road when it was a couple of years old. But this isn't an insurance total loss (fully HPI clear), the repair was authorised by the insurance company in the normal way with all works carried out by Porsche as an approved repair with a lifetime guarantee.
The repair is something we weren't able to detect during our inspection of the car (such is its quality), we uncovered it when doing our homework (prior to our purchase) so pass the information on in good faith. 130,000 miles later we feel any repairs can be signed off as satisfactory.
Maintained predominantly by one of the UK's more respected specialists for this type of car the vehicle is supplied with a full and detailed service history file outlining work carried out and to be honest even if the history wasn't there you know it's been well cared for when casting your eye over it.
Body-wise an armour-fend protection film covers a largely unmarked coat of paint, in fact were the car showing 50 or 60,000 miles you wouldn't think it out of place possibly a mark of just how demanding all those track days are and how much of a toll they take on many of the lower mileage examples offered for sale.
A car which is clearly going to be the topic of many column inches in the specialist forums and press and a car which we suspect won't take long to find a home. The cheapest non written off, not requiring repair GT3 ever offered for sale in the UK (as far as we are aware) and in the sort of condition associated with examples priced at £10,000-£15,000 more.
179,606 recorded miles.

Wow, I am astonished of how well the previous owner took care of it! And the knowing that with 180k miles still kicking strong is just awesome. Great find indeed for the price
Rep to whoever the previous owner is, cheers!
