Post Escalade DVD Bypass

The Cadillac Escalade is as popular with Soccer Moms as it is with Rappers in the Hip Hop Music Industry.

Unfortunately Cadillac made such a great vehicle for both of these demographics but left one functionality off.

The ability to watch the factory DVD while in motion as well as inputting the addresses on the fly.

What's the point of being the "cool" Soccer Mom or Rapper if you can't bypass the factory DVD and ride out in true style.

NAV-TV has a DVD bypass module called the "BARRACUDA" - it is a multi-purpose plug-and-play interface for late-model Cadillac, Chevrolet and General Motors vehicles equipped with the factory Navigation/DVD A/V system.

The NAV-TV Barracuda supports DVD video in motion, navigation destination entry, Onstar and Bluetooth operation, satellite radio category scrolling, DVD menu control, forced rearview camera and FLIR automotive night vision or baby camera viewing while in motion*.

Interesting, but riddle me this. How easy is it to install/remove?

Isn't all you have to do is engage the parking brake very slightly to bypass? Lexus and Chevy use to be that way

There is no engaging parking brake slightly in the CTSV. It's a small finger lever (dumb).

The Barracuda is a Plug and Play for Escalade and it is fairly simple install.

For the 2012 CTS-V, yes we do have a VIM and Navigation in Control module available, but it is Hardwired instead of a Plug and Play -

I will send you a PM

Will this work with aftermarket double-din JVC or Kenwood I wanted to purchase one of these and still have all of the Cadillac features is that possible?
