The ProGear Gear Seat looks great but under the beautiful surface is the most functional mobile workstation we have ever seen. The “Racing Seat” look cool, but is really designed for function and comfort for long periods. Carrying this unit around would be awkward if it were not for the carry handle built right into the Racing Seat back rest.
The large Gear Tray looks like a gear - it even spins on its axis. Spin the cogs to quickly and easily locate your tools or parts no matter where you left them.
Exclusive to the ProGear model is the huge 5” casters. These wheels are the key to the Gear Seats best-inclass mobility.
These premium casters are constructed of nylon and synthetic rubber. The huge casters allow the mobile technician to roll right over rough terrain and even small parts, cords and hoses. These obstacles topple conventional roll seats providing a constant risk of embarrassment and even injury.
Despite the huge casters the adjustable seat height can get down to a low level where a number of jobs take place (most notable brakes). This is possible because of our drop sleeve design that is exclusive to our
ProGear model.
The ProGear Mobile Gear Seat is beautiful and functional. Truly a work of art.
FYI, the unit in the video was a version scheduled for retail release and is no longer available. The unit pictured with the handle is the ProGear Mobile Gear Seat. I'll leave the video up as it is still a good reference.
I was informed yesterday, the model with the handle will be available 1Q 2012.
