Still a while until this game is going to be released, but I figured it's a good idea to start a thread. This game is going to be legendary! I can't wait, in fact I just bought my PS3 for this game. Real motor sounds and HD support, finally a great alternative for people who can't afford supercars (yet).
Waiting patiently. Played some Forza on the xboxes at work - but what it has in scale it lacks in feel. Pretty excited about GT5 though...

Count me in. Gran Turismo is what brought me to the Playstation in the first place. I'm just getting tired of waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting...
My #1 gripe (besides the wait and maybe because of it): GET RID OF THE IDIOTIC JDM CARS!!! No one wants to drive a 1.0L 3-cylinder Suzuki. No one wants to drive cars under 150 hp unless they are race cars or weigh under 2000 pounds. Sure, GT always brags about a huge car count, but most of it is shit I don't want to drive. Put 400-500 amazing cars in (take a note from Forza) and add more with DLC. /rant

This still hasn't been released? Sorry, I'm a 360 owner, no PS3 for me so I don't follow GT news much. I'm still considering buying a PS3 just for GT5 but I don't have the cash right now.
GT5 is the McLaren F1 of video games. It's taken forever to make it to production and when it comes out, it'll rewrite the rulebook. Nothing will be able to touch it for at least 10 years.
F*ck me. I need this game in my life.

Last thing I heard is, that the game is going to be released sometime between october and november this year. I hope this doesn't turn out like Duke Nukem Forever. 10 years of development and in the end they go bankrupt and the game will never be released.
