The Ferrari FF, Bespoke for Neiman Marcus Sells Out in 50 Minutes

Months before its arrival, the Ferrari FF has been inspiring passion in many, but only 10 could buy the 2012 Ferrari FF, Bespoke for Neiman Marcus. This exclusive GT, customized through the Ferrari Atelier, was one of the 10 “Fantasy Gifts” featured in the luxury retailer’s Christmas catalog. The FF, Bespoke for Neiman Marcus, sold out after just 50 minutes of phone-only ordering on October 27. A close look at the car, however, reveals intriguing customization possibilities available to all Ferrari clients.

The all-new 2012 Ferrari FF, with a 651-horsepower direct-injection V12 engine and 7-speed dual clutch transmission, is the first-ever Ferrari with four-wheel drive, the sports car maker’s proprietary 4RM system. Ferrari North America, working with the Ferrari Atelier, designed the bespoke edition to ensure that buyers would experience the very best that this all-new Ferrari offers.

To create the FF, Bespoke for Neiman Marcus, Ferrari North America started by selecting options available to all FF clients, including the JBL Pro™ premium audio, rear seat entertainment system, height-adjustable suspension, sport exhaust pipes and adaptive front lighting system. From there, Ferrari specified that all 10 cars for this program be built identically, to ensure the integrity of their exclusive status.

The car’s paint color, Grigio Caldo (“warm gray”), is new and will not be offered to others. Scuderia fender shields from Ferrari Atelier (not shown in photo) complement this unique color, along with the front grille in body color and 20-inch diamond polished wheels. The interior, done in the Cuoio Tuscano color, also draws on the abilities of the Atelier with diamond-pattern semi-aniline leather seats featuring charcoal contrasting stitching and Alcantra™ piping. There is also a matching diamond-pattern semi-aniline leather headliner. Another Atelier touch was to bring the special body color inside for the painted dashboard trim.

The 10 cars in this custom series come with an exquisite FF matching-leather 6-piece luggage set embroidered with the Neiman Marcus logo. The $395,000* price for the FF Bespoke for Neiman Marcus also includes enrollment in the 2012 Ferrari Winter Driving Experience in Aspen, Colorado to give the buyers a powerful taste of the Ferrari lifestyle while they learn to get the most from their cars even in snow. saw one on saturday at ferrari of long island a customer was picking up his new ride (no pics sorry) and i have to say it doesnt look any better in person. i hope the new 599 will be a real looker.
