Ferrari FF with bio-ethanol E85 conversion produces 875bhp
"Reportedly for less than €1500 Norwegian firm Customized.no offers a bio-ethanol E85 conversion that can transform your 651 bhp (485 kW / 660 PS) V12 powered all-wheel drive Ferrari super car into a bona fide 875 bhp (652 kW / 887 PS) hyper car all with the emissions of a diesel powered Volkswagen Polo bluemotion.
This isn't the first time we've seen a hypercar pushing major horsepower with E85. In addition to a few other models from the Swedish supercar maker, the Koenigsegg Agera R runs on E85 producing 1115 PS (1099 bhp / 820 kW). Fill it up with 95-octane fuel and the engine's potential is limited to 940 PS (927 bhp / 691 kW).
But how about emissions? The Ferrari FF is rated at 360g/km while the E85 conversion puts it below 100g/km according to TheCarFinders. Put it all together and the FF's 0-100 km/h sprint time improves by 20 percent from an already substantial 3.7 seconds down to below 3 seconds.
For the vehicle shown here, it is reported that the conversion was done by a Ferrari dealer. Whether that means they will honor the warranty or not is unknown, but highly doubtful they will."
