Ill have a few spare days while in Munich this fall from Oct. 30th to November 4th. Any cool car-related events going on? Shows, races, meets, etc that i could attend while over there? If not, what do i HAVE to see while in this area?

go to a bayern game and check out the BMW museum, they also have a factory tour.

 

Will Bayern be in season? That is a great idea - i will look at the schedule. As for BMW - i am not a HUGE BMW guy so i prally wouldnt take a day for that but cool idea none the less.

Anything else going on? Would love for their to be a car show or Porsche Club meet or something that i could attend...

 

Visit the Audi museum in Ingolstadt

 

im not a huge BMW fan either but it was pretty damn cool, do a segway tour of the city then

I'm going to be in Munich this weekend as well, but not until the 5th. I'm currently in Austria. I'm planning on hitting the BMW museums and such. Can't wait. Hopefully I can get a sweet hook-up as my friend's Dad was high up at BMW ///M for ~30 yrs.

I was hoping to catch some sort of rally race or automotive related things as well... I'm here until the end of November. Anyone have any ideas?

 

Rent a sweet car and drive the countryside. If you are into the scenic stuff, the Black Forest is a great area to see, and the country is peppered with churches, castles, etc. if you are into architecture, and so on.

 

I agree, that's what I do in my own time when I'm in munich for business.
