| A vinyl wrap won't last eight years. If that's 3M 1080 Series, go and check the specs.
On the roof and hood, for example, the UV exposure reduces the life by a significant amount. In some areas in the US, they will only be warranted for a few months.
All vinyls are rated for vertical exposure, so it's buyer beware. Always check the manufacturers spec sheet before proceeding with claims about outdoor longevity.
