Eye Gear
Just in time for spring break, several companies have released new sunglasses or updates on classic models. While sunglasses always have been cool, there are plenty of practical reasons to don them, especially if you're getting behind the wheel. In short, you can see better.
High-quality sunglasses reduce glare and allow you to see things more clearly, and they also reduce the amount of harmful rays from the sun that reaches your eyes, possibly reducing the risk of cataracts later in life. Also, if you're logging time behind the wheel, shades can help reduce eye strain and fatigue.
Remember that polarized lenses are great for the beach because they reduce glare off reflected surfaces, but they can make it difficult to read some navigation screens and other digital readouts when driving. That's a good reason to have two pairs at the ready.
