Rendered: 2013 Porsche Cayman

It's been awhile since I made any renderings, but I tried my best here with the new Cayman. Up until DJ posted those great spy shots of the new Cayman testing in the city, most of us assumed that the design would be nearly identical to the Boxster's except for obviously the fixed roof. But, those spyshots revealed that the new Cayman would have a traditional "Cayman" style fog light located on the edges of each lower front air intake. In addition to a few other minor tweaks to the fascia, it appears as if there will also be almost a 991 style front lip, with a bit of an edge on both sides. The Cayman should debut sometime later this year, with both models sporting a flat 6. The base model should get around 275hp, while the 'S' may receive as much as 330hp.

Anyway, here are the renderings. Even though, as some of you know, I don't like aftermarket wheels on Porsches, I decided to put some ADV.1s on this rendering because I thought it looked kind of boring. Enjoy!

wonder if the upcoming panamera update will have the same lights as the boxster and cayman?

Looks damn fine on those wheels - even though I prefer a stock look usually.

My tickets are booked for Geneva Motor Show - can't wait to see this car in the flesh.
