no saturdays, open 8-5 monday through friday... if saturday is the only day you can come up there is a possibility we could coordinate something... Absolutely sick car! This was also at Croctoberfest in ATL back in...well, October...certainly a sight to see!

Cant disclose any specifics... His name is ITMERC on Cayman club if you would like to speak with him directly.

We are about to announce some new power packages for the cayman and we are capable of giving prices for engine/suspension/brake upgrades but not much past that i am afraid. We will see what is in the future for this level of cayman project soon.

Here's a link to the Cayman Club thread I've been posting to about this project from day 1. ITS LOOOOONG! LOL!

X51 Motor swap, Supercharger install, Widebody conversion - The Cayman Club

I just registered here so I'll start posting info in this thread too.

Here's a general list of the mods the car has to date though its still a work in progress:

• Body:
o Carbon/Kevlar widebody based on the Porsche 987 coupe. Every panel except the aluminum hood has been modified or replaced
o Front bumper modeled on the 911 GT2 (997), rear bumper modeled on the 911 GT3 (997)
o Custom carbon fiber rear diffuser and under-tray to reduce lift
o 7” wider at rear wheels, 3” wider at front wheels.
o 3000 lbs, 50/50 weight balance
o 911 (997) Bi-Xenon headlights
o 911 Turbo (997) LED front turn signals
o 2009 911 (997) LED rear tail lights
o Clear side markers programmed as turn signals
• Engine/drivetrain:
o Original 987 3.4l engine swapped for Porsche 911 3.8 X51 "Clubsport" motor
o 911 X51 intake swapped for 911 Carerra S (997) 3.8l version with resonance chambers/flaps to improve bottom end and midrange power
o TPC Turbo with advanced tuning option
o 542 HP, 440 ft-lbs torque on less than 6psi boost with stock 11.8:1 compression, uses premium pump gas
o 5.53 lbs/hp power to weight ratio
o APR long tube headers, Jet Hot “Extreme Sterling” coated to help keep heat out of the enclosed mid-engine bay (Planned) Currently Miltek V2 Cayman Headers with Sport Cats.
o Single mass lightweight flywheel and X51 clutch
o Guard limited slip differential (Planned) Current Quaife Torque Biasing Diff.
o Porsche short shift kit
o 911 GT2 (997) front/corner complete radiator assemblies and ducts for engine cooling
o 911 GT2 (997) center radiator and ducts, used for the turbo intercooler
• Suspension
o Bilstein PSS9 adjustable suspension, lowered 1 ½”
o TPC Pro adjustable sway bars front and rear, with adjustable drop links
o 911 GT3 (997) adjustable rear Toe links
o MODE camber plates
o 911 GT3 (997) Front uprights/bearing carriers
o 911 GT3 (997) lower control arms, modified to reduce baseline negative camber
• Wheels Tires:
o HRE P43 lightweight forged aluminum “Monoblok” wheels, 20"x9" fronts, 20"x12" rears
o Michelin PS2 tires. 255/30 ZR20 fronts, 325/25 ZR20 rears
• Brakes:
o 6 Piston 911 GT3 (997) front calipers with 355x32mm AP racing drilled 2 piece rotors
o Rear: 4 Piston 911 GT3 (997) rear calipers with 322x32mm Porsche 993 Turbo drilled rotors, retains E-Brake functionality
o GT3 front brake ducts
o Pagid Yellow brake pads
• Interior:
o 911 GT2 (997) carbon fiber seats with integrated side airbags
o Shroth 6 point harnesses
o TC design harness bar
o 911 Turbo (997) carbon fiber shifter knob
o DB Carbon and Porsche interior carbon fiber trim pieces
o Porsche European version leather sun visors, (no airbag warning stickers)
o Pioneer Avic Z2, 7" touch screen stereo with Sat Nav/nav traffic, USB/Aux/IPOD inputs
o Focal and Polk component speakers
o Polk and Rockford Fosgate Amplifiers

Here's a few pics.... The white balance is off on some of the indoor ones so the red looks much more orange than it really is. The Outdoor ones generally show the true "blood red".
