petrolhead68 is an unknown quantity at this point
As a car, this is an awesome looking car and I'd love to see it in the flesh. However I am a huge Cayman fan due to the original purity of design so I would stick to an standard S.

I also love the Cayman though primarily for what its mid-engine potential brings to the table. Its annoys me to no end that Porsche doesn't give Cayman buyers the OPTION to have the same 3.8 they put in the 911's. They're essentially the SAME motor and the current 3.8 would bolt right in. (It SHOULD be a VERY low cost 'option'...) If that means it more thoroughly trounces the 911 as a sports car then they need to admit to themselves WHY and then make the 911 BETTER instead of holding back its smaller sibling due to an inherent flaw in their 'icon'.

I also agree that the Cayman is a gorgeous car in its own right!

Enjoy your car!
