Abt Cup Widebody '98 vw GTI VR6 Turbo - 350 hp - 48k miles - Seattle
SOLD
The time has come for me to move on. I am relocating, so for now I'd prefer to just own one car rather than two.
I've owned the car for seven years. The car has won it's class at H20 International every year it's been entered, and is featured in
this month's issue (October) of PVW. The car idles like a stock vr6, it's a very reliable turbo setup. The body work was all done correctly,
no short cuts were taken, at any point. This car helped show me what it means to be truly dedicated to a project, from start to finish.

I'd like to see the car go to the right buyer. If some idiot kid walked up to me with 20k cash, and i knew wouldn't take care of the car, i wouldn't sell it to him. This is one of two known metal abt cup widebodies. I'd like the car go into the hands of someone who will take care of it, enjoy it, and let others enjoy it by taking it to shows. Maybe someday I'll buy the car back, but for now I'd prefer to see the car go to someone who can enjoy it more than I can right now.
I'm willing to sell the car as is, or at a lesser price without wheels or without interior. I feel that these non-negotiable prices are very fair, considering all the work and money that has gone into the car. The parts alone are worth what I'm selling the car for! The HPA turbo kit retails for $7k!
Willing to sell the car AS IS (includes wheels, carbon interior, HPA turbo kit, etc etc.. everything!), for $17,500, or less without the Kerscher wheels and/or without the carbon fiber interior.
