Any updates on the upcoming Jaguar XFR-S?

Tried to search this up, but no results found of the XFR-S here on TS.

Most articles posted about the car are more than 3 months old...

Take this one from Autoblog, for example:

Jaguar XFR-S snapped gunning for M5 territory at the 'Ring

Does anyone have any updates on it yet?

They all said there was going to be one, but all it was revealed is the facelifted XFR.

I see...

Though here's a recent post from Autoblog on Feb 2nd (I saw just now):

Jaguar "seriously considering" XFR-S [w/poll]

They should because the XFR was and still is the worst performing of the super sedans. It's the last on the list. Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, they are all way better.

Ah, 'way better' might be a bit rich. The XFR still a 500hp saloon, so the difference isn't really that massive. Still, a bit more horsies would be nice, and I love the looks of the XFR!
And BTW, the Panamera is not a saloon. It's a hatchback

I was actually thinking of way better in terms of a generation old (somehow). It doesn't look as better as a CLS though . That may be just me...
The thing is the XF-R was made to compete with the old M5, the E63 with the old engine...you get the picture.
The last thing that car needs is the same power. People want more. It's a supercharger, it can get 60 more HP to run with the big boys now.
Also, stupid idea on the XFR-S. Why an S? BMW, Merc, they don't use the BMW M5 Turbo or BMW M5 S or whatever moniker. That "S" is there because Jag fears that people will not know it's better or newer. They want to make sure people know it's a better car.
