Fabspeed Motorsport has been an authorized Kleemann dealer and installer for five years now, and continues to upgrade Mercedes Benz vehicles with their high performance packages. Over these last few years we performed a majority of upgrades on the V8 platform, but we're not partial to the V6 and V12 engines. The 55-series AMG has been the most prevalent at Fabspeed, with major power improvements over the OEM figures. Kleemann offers a vehicle and performance package list on their website, which illustrates incremental power stages. Fabspeed can supply any Kleemann product, but for most upgrades, having the vehicle at our facility works best as the Sport Headers require minor fabrication. 55 AMG
This SL55 AMG belongs to a local enthusiast who wanted more throttle response and overall power to the 5.4L V8 Supercharged platform. Fabspeed installed the Kleemann K2-kit, which includes the T304 stainless steel tubular headers with Fabspeed's 200 cell tri-metallic sportcats, larger crank pulley, BMC F1 air filters, and ECU upgrade. To further improve performance, the larger 80mm throttle body was installed with a LSD. Power improved to 600HP/650 ft-lbs of torque (493HP/516 ft-lbs stock).


63 AMG
Fabspeed has improved many 63 Series AMG's with ECU upgrades and more advanced programs like the stainless steel headers and 200 cell tri-metallic sport catalytic converters. Kleemann has a K1 kit which includes the ECU upgrade all the way to a K4 Kit (supercharger/header/throttle body).



65 AMG
Fabspeed has upgraded a few 65 AMG's with custom exhaust systems and ECU Upgrades. The ECU upgrade will improve power to 670HP/848 ft-lbs of torque. Here is a video of an SL we upgraded.

The V12 SL65 sounds amazing. Can't imagine what all that thrust must feel like behind the wheel. Nice work.
