| The AMG Development Package for the C63 Worth it? Hey guys, I was looking at a C63 at my local Merc. dealership today and I had my mind pretty made up that I wanted to have the AMG development package on the C63, except now that we had a big snowfall it made me reconsider. Because w/ all that extra hp, I'd imagine it might compromise traction, etc. One of the biggest things I look for in a car is the ability to handle snow, I'm not sure if the dev. pack. is worth the $6k+ price. What do you think?

| How do you know that? ^ LOL Get the package. Doesn't Mercedes have a "snow" mode for the gearbox? Also, in theory, the engine is stronger and should take a tad more HP with a tune... |

| Yeah but see the difference between the dev. Pack and non-dev. Pack c63 is the difference between me barely on the road and me in a 10-foot-tall snow drift.

| I would think a regular C63 would be terrible in the snow as well? Get it!

| Not to be completely stupid, bu is the amg development pack a c63? I wouldnt round it out as being completely terrible in the snow, but its pretty obvious that a c300 w/4 matic would so much better in the snow. But, if you were looking for an extra car, go witht the grand cherokee, much more for the price. |
