Arrow iPhone Video Review

Alright, so pre-ordered theirs? I personally ordered a blk/slate 64 gb. I've been lucky enough to keep my unlimited data plan with att (even though it slows at 3gb and caps at 5gb)

Iv'e had all of the iPhone generations and i'm very exited about this one. May not be anything revolutionary in this one, but everything just seems to be better. I'm also hoping that cheap Chinese 30 pin to lighting adapters are made soon.

Here's a C-net quick review of it:

i am waiting for ios6 to be approved by my company before i can order one.

i dont get the complaints abt the bolt connector. i don't dock my device and those that want to use ipod in their car can continue to use an old ipod, which is cheap enough. who docks their phone into the car to play music anymore? i don't. use BT if needed.

A lot of people, probably the majority use their Iphone as an Ipod as well. I haven't touched the Ipod since getting the Iphone. It's easier to have everything on one device than two.

I think the adapter issue will be a mute point once all of the aftermarket companies get their hands on it. I'm sure monoprice, amazon and ebay will be selling these things for $5 all day.

I know not a lot of people use a dock for their iPhone, but I personally do when I set it on my desk and connect it to my stereo system, and when I go to sleep I have a small speaker/dock/alarm clock thing that I dock my phone on every night. I also have many wires around the house that all incorporate the 30 pin system. Like mentioned above though, there should be a ton of re=produced cheap converters.

The issue with the dock is that even with the adapter most cars lose the onscreen iPod/iPhone integration, with BMWs for example. Going from 30 pins to 9 pins is aesthetically pleasing, but the new connector isn't as capable as the old one was.
