Wink Put a deposit on a 991 GT3

Looks like about 1.5 years out, but I'm already excited.

Someone is not telling you the truth. Can I have a interest free 18 month loan?

Hopefully it was not a large deposit. No more then $500.

Putting down a deposit on a high-demand car this far out from release is pointless and guarantees you nothing. If the dealer hasn't already given their allocation(s) to someone else by the time the car hits the showroom floor, be prepared to bend over for $20-30K over sticker to even be in the running for it. Pessimistic? Yes, Realistic? Yes.

So then he falls into the "Pay ridiculous amount over sticker" category. Gotcha.

I hope he gets the car. I just think puting a deposit on a car that hasn't been officially announced is sketchy at best.
