Porsche has really good lease rates though. That's the only reason I see so many 991s out on the road but not many other $130k cars.

WOW - Can't believe I missed this thread. It is such a compelling argument. I would go with the Cayman S PDK and A8!

great way to see what you can buy with 180 + but for sure you already have the Range Rover or something similar and of course you laugh on the Datsun with steroids.

Currently, Porsche enjoys very high customers satisfaction and seems like they want to charge that to the max. I wonder is that good strategy for long period

Only excellent design can satisfy big price bump because people get attached to car emotionally, and I don't see that on new Turbo! All previous Turbo`s were known as fastest cars in range (benchmark car), but that is not case anymore. Also, new GT3 makes Turbo as car that was not priority in Porsche`s workshop, and guess what - GT3 is cheaper.

If we take a look on future Porsche pricing strategy, base 992 Turbo should be all over $200k
