Thumbs up Tequipment Sport bucket seats - Yum

For those who exploit the upper limits of the 911’s, Cayman’s or Boxster’s performance, Tequipment offers sports bucket seats that hold you comfortably and securely in place under high cornering forces. A folding backrest enables easy access to the rear luggage area. The backrest shell is a plastic reinforced with glass fiber and carbon fiber and the seats weigh 15-19 lbs. less than standard sport seats. Available in black leather with embossed Porsche Crest on the headrest or in black flame-resistant fabric. The seats provide an integrated thorax airbag and manual fore/aft adjustment. These seats are available for 911 and Boxster from Model Year 2005, and Cayman from Model Year 2006. Please contact your authorized Porsche dealer today to bring you one step closer to these seats.

Looks really nice, do they make them in natural brown leather? I've never seen these seats in any color except black.

How do these compare weight wise to the old sport buckets? I've always thought these looked kind of heavy.

YUM until it hits my wallet!

That would be a great add on to my turbo but not at the price. What are they like 8-10K for a set?

Still at 6700 for a set of seats for my non-tracking a*s - is not worth it. But still Yummy.. Maybe when things pick up again in the economy..
