Andrew, no personal offense, bud, but the claim of 'best' surely does not belong in your post.

DICE was eliminated from Dension (the defacto standard in Porsche iPod integration for over two years) months before the product was even released because they were lying to distributors about what they were doing, and they have nothing on any of the competition. At one time, they were a US arm of Dension, but they were cut off over two years ago and have nothing to do with Dension now.

The Dension Gateway 500 we've carried for two years is the standard. It does all iPod integration, is fully featured, AND you keep the factory cd changer, AND YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE NAVIGATION for the Dension product.

The real difference here is that Dension is an R&D company, constantly working on the technology, product improvement, and new features.

Not to say the product you describe does not work, or does not function correctly, but I'd be very careful about your claim of 'best'...especially with the thousands of units in Porsche customer vehicles we call our 'installed base'...quite a strong point.

But good luck with the product, I wish you well.
