Agreed, DCT is all the difference in the world. And because the V8 is a flat-plane with comparatively less rotational mass, the revs fall just quick enough for the next clutch to engage going back up. This is why I think the setup is game changing, even though the specs of the two cars are so similar.
I love the new 570SL, and it would be such a great decision to have to make between the two!
