I co-own a detail shop as well.

Yeah, it sucks. But, it's hard for me to understand why this is SUCH a big deal. The car gets a new bumper, and it is back on the road. When he sells, he'll take some type of hit for that, but it isn't the end of the world. Remember guys, they're cars, they don't have feelings, and they can be replaced. Let's get our perspectives straight.
