Want a Faster Alfa Romeo 4C? Buy a Tesla Model X!

Tesla Model X

Let’s see, how do we describe this one? On one side of the drag strip, there’s a seductively red Alfa Romeo 4C, and on the other side, there’s an identical Alfa Romeo 4C, but in bright yellow. Now, who do you think wins the race?

The Tesla Model X does.

What I didn’t tell you, is that the yellow Alfa is strapped to a trailer, which is being hauled by none other than a Tesla Model X SUV. It seems that the Alfa’s super low curb-weight, has actually played against the tiny supercar, as the Tesla didn’t strain one bit in pulling it to the quarter mile ahead of its twin.

I had to. Nobody believes how bloody fast these Teslas are. Now you know.

The red Alfa is piloted by flamboyant superstar automotive journalist Jonny Lieberman of Motor Trend, and the Model X by his colleague, Jason Cammisa, who posted the video above. Which leads us to believe that both drivers know exactly what they’re doing. And the performance is precise; not two amateurs being silly for the sake of YouTube.

According to their respective manufacturer’s, the Tesla Model X can hit 60 mph in a blistering 3.2 seconds while on Ludicrous mode, while the sexy Alfa does so in 4.5 seconds.

Shocked? You should be.
