Detroit Kicks Off the Year With Stunning Machinery in Unlikely Colors. See Our Photos From the 2017 North American International Auto Show
Detroit has once again played host to the North American International Auto Show, and every manufacturer’s latest and greatest machines were present. And so were we for press day! 2017 did not bring as many brand-new reveals as usual, but that’s not to say things were stale.
Audi brought a full lineup of vehicles, which included a gorgeous Audi R8 V10 Plus in Bombay Blue. The same lovely hue adorned their new Q8 concept, which seemed to steal the show despite other “cooler” vehicles present.
America represented well too, with the Le Mans-winning Ford GT race car covered in “French” grime and full-race livery. In addition, a red production model of the Ford GT also made an appearance, and even caught the eye of Vice President Biden during his visit.
Mercedes brought a show-stopping white S-Class Maybach convertible. Alfa opted to show-off several Giulia sedans, and the Stelvio crossover. Other vehicles worth mentioning include the absolutely gorgeous Volvo S90 wagon, the BMW M6 Grand Coupe, the Lexus GS F, Acura NSX, and even Lightning McQueen!
