Mystery Solved: This Is McLaren’s P13 Mule

This week we ran spy images of what we believed to be the upcoming face-lifted McLaren Mp4-12C, which we do know is in fact coming our way, but the images snapped by our spies was actually something else indeed. Yes folks, something very exciting is on its way.

According to McLaren, the car we see here is not the 12c face-lift as we originally thought, it is an early test mule for the company’s Porsche 911 fighter, the entry-level P13. A spokesman for the company told the british magazine Auto Express, that the 12C-looking mule was running with some of the P13’s mechanicals.
